Sitting here wrapping up lunch as I type this. Really didn't think I'd be back after my visit last yr but 1) options are limited in this town and 2) really wanted to give this family establishment another shot. I'm happy to say I had a much better visit this go around. Still 12:30 on a Thursday, probably another 4 tables while I was there. Food was much better presented and refilled accordingly. Still liked the chicken and broccoli, the Mongolian beef looked good enough to try this go around and was pretty decent. Mushrooms weren't dry, green beans were very good, and the store bought dumplings were cooked perfectly this time. Generals chicken was still a bit too heavily breaded but tasted good. Still not a fan of the black pepper chicken but I think it's just the seasoning itself. The chicken skewers (not actually skewered here) probably stole the show, the fresh batch that came out was incredibly tender. All in all, a night and day difference. I'll be back.

We love to order take out at least a couple of times a month! The meals are excellent, the service is very friendly and the servings are generous! Glad we have this restaurant here in Boone! The team at Asian Buffet are always so kind. It feels like it's run by a family (maybe it is). Always glad to grab food at Asian Buffet. A real add to Boone. Kid-friendliness: Fine place for kids to eat. Plenty of booths and space.
