Despite its busy and sometimes noisy environment, fans frequently choose this place for authentic Filipino dishes.

Very weird on naming their food. They call the nilagang baboy, bulalo, like seriously?? The personel on the cashier is very assertive on what she wants instead of listening to the customer first. Food is ok but is service is horrible. Not recommended for dine in. Meal type: Brunch

I found the food in Kamayan is not as good as it used to be- the pancit I bought on the weekend didn’t have the pinoy taste- it was bland and there were capcicums in it- since when did pinoy pancit have capsicums? The pork bbq was the only thing that I would rate highly- it tasted authentic! But the other dishes such as caldereta and ginataang langka just weren’t up to the standard! The price didn’t justify the lack of quality in the food- Im afraid that was my last visit to Kamayan- will be going to other pinoy restos. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Authentic local Filipino food in Western Sydney! Had a great dine-in experience at The Kamayan with the family during Mother’s Day and really enjoyed both the food and atmosphere. The place had a warm and welcoming feel from the moment we arrived, and it was great seeing so many families and members of the community coming together over Filipino food. We ordered BBQ on a stick with rice and vegetables, and everything tasted fresh, comforting, and full of flavour. The BBQ was well-seasoned and cooked nicely, while the vegetables and rice paired perfectly with the meal. We also took home pancit palabok which was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. Definitely one of those meals that leaves you satisfied and wanting to come back again. Yum! We also stopped by PanaDarna, the Filipino pastries and coffee shop located near the entrance, which is also well worth visiting. My family enjoyed the iced lattes while I had the iced chocolate, and their famous buko pie definitely lived up to the hype. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and always nice supporting Filipino-owned businesses here in Western Sydney that help bring culture, food, and community together.
