Honestly the food was disgusting. But completely wrong what kind of sushi restaurant cuts fish lengthwise and uneven?! Fish itself was tough and chewy. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

My staff and I frequent Kanpai regularly, to the point that server Stephen always remembers our names. The 'spicey shashimi salad' is my favorite, and I'm always pleased with special dishes like Ankimo and good quality Uni. By far my favorite place in or around Palo Alto, and I've tried them all.
