With this, they categorize themselves as a Japanese sushi restaurant, you have to be careful and read carefully before eating there. Actually, the basic ingredients are based on those of a Japanese sushi restaurant, yes. However, the dishes are then overused with additional ingredients, such as mascarpone and mayonnaise, in the typical Spanish style. Yes, it can taste good, but it can also be disappointing. The concept is exaggerated with a lot of marketing to justify the very high prices. For me, it's definitely not a Japanese sushi restaurant and I suspect the Japanese would agree with me. And some more indexes. Do sushi restaurants serve edamame? Do the staff at a Japanese sushi restaurant talk a lot or do you barely notice them? It would probably be clearer if the word fusion was included in the category. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

We see that there is some ambiguity in your review, since on the one hand you enjoyed the flavors and the concept of our cuisine, which makes us happy, however, after this, you point out that you expected something more "Japanese". First of all, the name of our brand defines us: "Kawori, Unusual Japanese Restaurant", the entire root of this cuisine is based on the tradition, technique and ingredients of Japan, however it seeks to go a step further by incorporating ingredients and techniques from the rest of the world's cuisines. And as a small nuance, Japanese mayonnaise is one of the most used products on a daily basis in the kitchen of the Japanese country. That said, we will be happy to assist you if you want to enjoy our cuisine and the attention of our team again.More

It is not the first time we have come to Kawori, and it never fails to fall below our expectations and we do not have them low. This time we took an in-depth tour of all their hot dishes and uramakis. Our top dishes this time have been the cuttlefish fritter, a true explosion of the sea in the mouth, and the crumbled crab uramaki... a whirlwind in the mouth. There is little to comment on the dessert since we are faithful followers of the torrija exclusively designed by Alberto Gonzalez. The service as always 10. The atmosphere this time was somewhat overloaded, despite it being lunch on a Tuesday, the place was full and the noise was a bit annoying. Now they are in a new location, and we find the following points for improvement since this has been our first time in the new one: -When entering the premises we noticed a strong smell of drainage, I don't know if it was something specific that day or if it is a constant problem. -The cleanliness of the bathrooms was not as expected, in the old place they were much better.
