The brisket nachos... You are only served a total of six chips. If you're sharing that's three chips each. Then they fill the plate with pico, sour cream, etc. that would never be eaten with three measly chips.For my six nacho chips and a few drinks each we had over a 60 dollar bar tab. The drinks I tried were all meh too. The waitress was great, but otherwise not much good happening here.

Katy Trail Ice House Outpost is the burbs version of the non-outpost location in uptown. The Outpost is much smaller but still offers a fun outdoor patio drinking experience albeit with an older burbs clientele. I'd rate the food as 3-stars. The double patty melt is delightfully greasy but the beef isn't particularly flavorful. This may be obvious, but I'd avoid the BBQ if you are a foodie and stick to the bar food offerings. The margaritas are terrible here. I rarely leave drinks unfinished but the margarita here tasted so bad, I wanted to trash it after a few sips. Stick to the beers to be safe. The beer selection is decent but offers less variety than the uptown location. I can never seem to find a good pale ale here. 4-stars because I think it's the only good beer-drinking patio in this area.
