I was underwhelmed with this place. They serve on paper plates with plastic ware - super wasteful. There's no half and half for coffee - only milk and powdered creamer. We ordered a side of mixed fruit - strawberries, blueberries and bananas. The berries were previously frozen which kind of blew my mind. I took one look at it and knew they weren't fresh. They put this on their pancakes, which I find slightly more passable. But as a side that doesn't work at all. The rest of our meal was fine.
Friendly staff, fast working, answered any questions I had about the menu with a smile. Had the guava lava Mochi waffle , bacon and potatoes medley. Absolutely delicious!! My boyfriend had the eggs Benedict and said it was the best thing he ever had! 10/10
I wish we could give half stars as this review would be an easy 2.5 stars. Showed up a touch after 1030 am on 10/23/18, the restaurant was clean and cool (I opted out of going to Yogurstory as I read the temperature was unpleasantly warm) with lots of tables to choose from. The staff were really nice and the music choice (Bradda Iz) was perfect. The food...not good. Porky pork eggs benedict was, just as the name suggests, piggish. An abundance of swine on an english muffin, with hollandaise that represented more of a yellow gravy and tasted almost like a cream of spinach from Campbell's without a hint of lemon. The eggs were severely over cooked. Eggs are tricky like that but ruining a poached egg for a benny is sacrilege! It should be a beautiful thing with ozzy, golden yolk in encased in it's perfect egg white housing. The pork tenderness was inconsistent with some spots hard as rock while others soft as a pillow. The potato medley was salty. You're bacon me crazy (cute name) was full of bacon! Get this if you love bacon because ther's no skimping here. The fried rice was pretty bad, the rice itself was hard which kind of just ruined it for me. Mochi pancakes, hands down, would go back just for this. Flavor, texture, temperature, everything was on it. So sad the rest of our meal wasnt.
