Koi has been around since 2002. This is their flagship of Koi Group. The main dining room is a good size. Not too big and lound and not too small and boring. The candlelights are amazing. The work is work of art and ive worked with candles before and know how hard it is to make them the way they have it. We tried several of their rolla baked crab roll was awesome. Rhw crispy rice was actually crispy. Their desert was also work of art amazing.
We really enjoy it enjoy it here whenever we go. And look, I know this is totally some Americanized Asian fare but they do it well! Some favorites: crispy rice w/spicy tuna, lobster tacos, tempura shrimp hand rolls (look weird but are the most delicious) & the black cod (melts in your mouth) Also the shiso gimlet is the perfect drink, not sweet but bright and refreshing. One thing I would not recommend for dessert is their cheesecake. Neither my husband or I liked it & we love cheesecake. Very very thick & not much flavor at all-Not very appetizing. Interior space is dimly lit which is great for a date. One irritating thing is that on two occasions when we have been here, there has been screaming children. Kids were literally running around this nice restaurant like wild animals and the staff allows it. Which I find very odd for the level of restaurant. Besides that negative, it's very nice here & the waitstaff is all very kind.
This place is amazing . Was her for my birthday dinner and was astonished by their service and what the restaurant have to offer :) To start off, there's valet right in front of the restaurant. And then theres also street parking around the plaza. They take reservation so just call ahead of time. The scenery is lovely at this restaurant . There is a sushi bar surrounding the inner corner of the restaurant and booths in between . There's also an outdoor section. I honestly love everything we order that day. To start off I had the salmon carpaccio . It was amazing! Flavored with ponzu sauce  and the fish itself taste deliciously. Next we order the baked crab and then the lobster tacos. These were my favorite . The lobster tacos come with this special sauce which made it even better . Then our last dish was koi crispy rice filet mignon. This was also good! The rice was crispy in addition to the mouth watering flavored meat. You can also select other type of proteins including tuna or salmon . Overall great experience !
