The food here is delicious, but it does get very loud in here. The music is pretty loud which causes people to talk even louder. Definitely a great place to gather with your friends and have fun with some drinks with delicious yakitori, but if you're looking for a quieter place to have an intimate conversation I'd suggest going elsewhere. Since the shop is small, I highly recommend getting a reservation in advance especially for a large group. I went with my friend on a Thursday night and all the tables were filled up.
I was in town for work and came across this restaurant. I was hesitant to try it because I was afraid I'd compare it to a place I love back home in San Diego. I dove in though, and absolutely loved it! We hadn't made a reservation, but they were able to seat us at a table with a one hour time limit. I'd give it a 4.5, but a very strong one! For starters, the fried garlic melts in your mouth like butter, and the deep fried oysters were also tasty. The beef was full of flavor, and very juicy. I also tried spicy pork belly, pork cheek, chicken thigh, and more beef! Don't forget to order a grilled rice ball. It's also very good, but just make sure they bring it out. They forgot to bring ours, so we ended up eating them after we had eaten our skewers.
Top notch Yakitori. Everything here is magic. The monkfish liver is exceptional. Eat, a lot, of variety.
