Recommended - the gelato was very good!
Good quality gelato, but not the best I’ve taken.
When I visited Italy this year, my food allergies (peanuts, treenuts, fish) were a major concern. A lot of places we visited were better with the food allergies than I expected, but finding safe Gelato, was hard.  While in Rome on our last day, I found L'Arena del Gelato on Yelp. Someone else apparently had the same idea, as when I spoke to the owner he asked if I was the person who had called him earlier that day. When I spoke to the owner about my allergies, he was very helpful, and told me he made all the flavors himself. There were a few nut flavors, but the fruits were kept separate, so I had a split of Lemon and Mango. Both flavors were amazing, and tasted so real and flavorful. TL;DR: Owner made me feel very safe, and I would recommend to anyone visiting Rome.
