After visiting Cathedrale Saint-Pierre, you can look over the menu at this restaurant. Explore the world of African and French cuisines here. The truth is that you will really like tasty kacamak, trout and amuse bouches. That's a nice idea to order good parfait, choux and ice cream. Order delicious wine, champagne or michelada. Great cappuccino is waiting for you at L'Esquisse.

This place is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Prices here are reported to be low. You will appreciate the fine decor and comfortable ambiance of this spot. It's a Michelin one-star restaurant, the award is usually given for serving great food.

A MICHELIN star: cuisine of great finesse. Worth the step!
Good standard.

Previously Laurent Petit's sous-chef at Le Clos des Sens in Annecy-le-Vieux, Stéphane Dattrino is now at the helm his own restaurant that is pretty as a picture. Behind its discreet façade, there are plenty of tables for two (opt for one upstairs) and, despite its deliberately relaxed feel, the service here is very much on the mark... More info

This was a bit of a miss for me. It's not often that a 1 star restaurant doesn't deliver at least one really strong dish, but unfortunately at L'Esquisse there were none that excelled. Nothing was very creative, and the substance was quite minimal. I have no problem paying top dollar for top meals, but this genuinely felt like poor value for money. The service team were excellent though - describing the dishes well and bringing a very friendly manner to the lunch. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €60–70

Food was mostly pretty good with a couple of misses, which probably relate to gluten free modification. The desert was the biggest miss, and it doesn’t feel good to dislike the end. Thank you for the gluten free accommodation. The service was good throughout. The atmosphere upstairs was average to poor, and it got hot; I started sweating. Nothing was like - WOAH. It was all good or even very good (except for desert), but just not wow good. It felt very clean and pure and fresh. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

One naturally expects more from a Michelin one starred restaurant and we were under-whelmed, mostly by the food. We chose the 3 course surprise lunch menu and found each course was average, extremely lacking in creativity. Each course left us more bored. Service was great. There was no music playing and the atmosphere felt a bit stiff. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Lunch
