The awesome barrista and his coffees are La Buvette's saving grace. Everything else about the place hasn't moved along with the rest of Sydney, including the overpriced uninspiring food and the customer-fleecing $10 minimum card rule. The owner - and subsequently some staff - seem to take pride in being rude and defensive, particularly if you dare to give any feedback. La Buvette can only rest on its Challis Ave laurels for so long.
