I very much LOVED my experience at La Cambra dels Sentits, a small restaurant in El Palmar, the birthplace of the Paella. I called ahead to make a reservation, and the lady on the phone was super nice. When we arrived, she welcomed us, seated us and recommended items from the menu . She was very authentic and knowledgeable about wines and the area and one could feel the pride of being part of that area. The food was excellent - the tomato and aioli I had read about on Tripadvisor did not disappoint and the chicken and rabbit paella was to die for! Especially the crust on the bottom of the pan are a must try! The winner from the area was very good to and the price / value amazing. A tip for everybody's list when in Valencia with time to visit El Palmar! We will remember this restaurant fondly and will return if given the chance.
