Enjoy Museo Picasso and come to this confectionary restaurant. Make a change from your habitual meal and try nicely cooked laing and good turrón at La Campana. In accordance with the visitors' opinions, waiters serve tasty gelato, nougat and chocolate custard here. Great chocolate frappe goes well with the nice meal.

**January 2023: Tuesday Afternoon Visit** I saw this featured by a Spain Revealed, a travel youtuber, and wanted to check the out. First off this shop is historic. While turrones, a European nougat confection, wasn't first made in Barcelona, La Campana, is the first shop in Barcelona to make it! They've been making these delicious treats (and more) since 1890! On my visit I got to sample their orange, and original and enjoyed both. I think compared to what you could get in the US these prices are fair, but compared to other local shops (that may not have the historic name notoriety) these turrons are priced much higher. 1 medium blocks €6.90 1 taster blocks €2.40 They do taste natural and not processed, so if you're looking for a great gift idea from Barcelona, this would be a good option!

This place was great. I now know what a turrone is, and you should too. I do not have a sweet tooth and I loved the little almond based candies.

Solid 5/5 for the delectable almond based deserts! Absolutely one of my favorite bites on our Spain trip! Our food tour guide introduced us to this place, and we sampled a bunch of offerings. If you are an almond fan, this is your heaven! They have all kinds of natural almond deserts, from nougats to chocolates. There is no artificial flavoring in their almond deserts that I tried (that fake flavoring sometimes found in cheap marzipan and almond deserts). I'd recommend getting a sampler pack so you can try various different types of preparations, none of them are cloyingly sweet so they also make great gifts.
