Come here for a drink after a long walk around Universeum. Italian cuisine under the direction of the talented chef is gorgeous at this place. It's a pleasant experience to order good pasta, taro and risotto. You will be served tasty che and good ice cream. Try the delicious prosecco, grappa or champagne offered here. Come to this restaurant for great coffee.
La Cucina Italiana is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. As users indicate, affordable prices might disappoint you a little. There is a nice atmosphere and terrific decor at this place. Visited La Cucina Italiana on a classic greyish gothenburgian wednesday evening, i.e. a perfect evening for Italian delicacies! Upon entering the restaurant you are greeted by a fancy yet cosy decor in a smaller room seating approximately 14 and some seats. The service was great and pleasant from the start and throughout the stay. We decided on their four course menu "La Cena" accompanied with a reduced wine package (half glasses). It was clear all through the evening that the menu was carefully planned, both in the presentation and in taste. We got the pleasure to meet Pietro Fioriniello when he came out to see how his guests were feeling. To summarize, I highly recommend La Cucina Italiana. It is an experience well worth it you will not forget in a while.
