This restaurant and Ayuntamiento City Hall can be both really attractive for tourists. The menu of Spanish cuisine is to the pleasure of all clients here. Come here and degust good tapas, smoked salmon and pepperoni pizza. Here you may order delicious Sangria, beer or house wine. Get your meal started with great cortado.
Live music is performed by musicians in the evening. The gracious waitstaff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. A number of people have noticed that the service is decent. From the guests' viewpoint, prices are democratic. You will definitely appreciate the pleasant atmosphere and modern decor. But La Cuisine Restaurante hasn't earned a high rating from Google users.

We went as a group of four, two people got their meals first at a quick time, but then it was around a 40 minute wait until the other two meals came. The staff never apologised for the wait and we had to actually ask where our food was after growing very impatient. We eventually got our meals, and they weren’t even that great. There was no discounts or even apologies when paying for the bill, and we all left feeling very disappointed and even angry. Threatened by Manager – Extremely Poor Service and Hostile Behaviour Zero stars if possible This restaurant is located in a beautiful setting, which makes it even more disappointing that the experience was so unacceptable. I rarely leave reviews, but what happened here was serious enough that I feel others should be warned. We visited as a group of six adults, expecting a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Upon arrival, we were asked to wait inside while our table was prepared. This was fine, and we ordered drinks while waiting. After around 10 minutes, we were seated and placed our food orders. Unfortunately, several dishes were unavailable — including the fillet steak — but this was not communicated until after we had ordered. We didn’t mind adapting, so alternatives were chosen without complaint. However, the problems began when our meals started arriving at completely different times: - The ribs arrived first. - Around 10 minutes later, the paella was served. 15 minutes after that, my sirloin steak arrived, followed by one T-bone steak. - The second T-bone was replaced, without any consultation, by a single 1kg steak to be shared between two people — even though they had requested different cooking preferences. - The salmon dish arrived last, with chips instead of rice. When we queried this, the waiter (who identified himself as the manager) simply said, “Rice is finished.” This lack of communication and coordination meant we all ate separately, with some meals going cold while others waited. To make matters worse, the steaks were served without the sides or sauces that had been ordered, which took an additional 10 minutes to arrive after chasing. When we raised our concerns politely with the manager, his response was dismissive: “I understand, but it’s not my problem.” We requested a goodwill discount due to the poor service, but he refused and instead offered a round of drinks. We declined as it was late and asked for the value to be deducted from the bill — again, he refused. At this point, the situation escalated unnecessarily. The manager became aggressive, repeatedly spoke over us, and threatened to call the police when we questioned the bill (which was also incorrectly calculated — we were charged for two 500g T-bones even though only one 1kg steak was served). He then made inappropriate comments about where I was from and stated, “I have thousands of friends in Spain,” which came across as intimidating. Another man, introduced as “security,” then approached in an aggressive manner. Feeling uncomfortable and threatened, we paid the full bill (€280 for six people, including one round of drinks and a bottle of wine) just to leave safely. This was by far the worst service experience I have ever encountered. The lack of professionalism, communication, and basic courtesy from the management was shocking. It’s a shame, as the location itself is lovely — but the service completely ruins it. I strongly advise avoiding this restaurant. There are many better options nearby in Marbella offering genuine hospitality and far higher standards. Such behaviour from management is unacceptable in any setting, let alone a restaurant catering to tourists. I hope this feedback encourages the owners to reflect seriously on how they treat their guests. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: €60–70
