We took our big son there for his 22nd birthday. My two men being fans of pancakes, they loved it. Personally, I had a “la cocotte” salad but I wasn’t impressed. Let me explain: it's a salad with chicken, tomatoes, fried potatoes and a fried egg. The chicken was dry and the potatoes were undercooked. Afterwards I leave 5 stars because it is not their specialty and as I said, the two big pancake eaters were delighted. I made up for it for dessert with a salted butter caramel crepe. So there.... A treat for the taste buds. I could have asked for another one out of simple greed. In short, you have a varied menu, whether savory or sweet, and it is not for nothing that La Ficelle is one of the 10 best creperies in Caen.
