Amazing starters. We has the taste of cheese & jam, and the upgrade on the Parma ham. All outstanding. Entrees were a long pasta with truffle sauce (daily special). We well with a half-bottle of Brunello!
This is a culinary highlight of my 5 day Bologna/Modena/Parma trip. We had a rainy day when we arrived in Parma and looked for a restaurant to take cover and hit this one by luck. Food to remember.
We just ate at La Forchetta and it was delightful. The outdoor seating was very nice and the wait staff was all lovely and clearly work hard. We had the Torta Fritta, prosciutto, risotto, tiramisu, and pumpkin tortellini along with wine of course. We kind of randomly chose wine as the list is extensive, and both the red and rose were very good. The food was very well prepared and so tasty. We are already planning to go back tomorrow (our last day in Parma) as it was that good. And quite affordable. Would highly recommend!
