In case the rain took you by surprise during the promenade around Central Synagogue, stop by this bar. If you're an Italian cuisine lover, come here. It's a pleasant experience to try perfectly cooked spinach ravioli, salads and calamari. Guests may have tasty tiramisu, chocolate cakes and chocolate crepes at La Gioconda.

The wine list is extensive, every visitor will find something that satisfies their taste. It's time to degustate delicious coffee. The success of this place would be impossible without the professional staff. Fabulous service is something clients agree upon here. Pay good prices for eating at this spot. You will certainly appreciate the quiet atmosphere and homey decor. But the rating of this bar isn't high on Zomato.

A great experience with delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and kind staff. I had the penne with eggplant and red sauce. The penne were HUGE. The table bread was served with a delicious hummus like dip, great wine selection, and the crepe dessert is delicious.
Great little find for Italian on Midtown East. The M train stops about a half block away. Small place. Great Waiter, he was so proud of the menu that night. I had a killer veal with Gorganzola sauce and delicious spinach, for NINETEEN BUCKS. Great value, nice atmosphere and good staff. Go for it. With Tri Colore our new 2nd "go to"  for Italian in the City.
What a find! I was starving and not ready to get on the 6 so I wandered down 53rd and chose La Gioconda. I'm glad I did! Luis was an attentive and pleasant waiter. He pointed out that if I ordered two glasses of wine (what a chore haha) I could get an appetizer on the house! Which I promptly did. My cavatelli with sausage and broccoli rape was excellent. Prosecco was lovely. My only reason for 4 stars, not 5, was the music. Some sort of awful atonal elevator music.  Kind of grating. I would have expected Pavarotti or something more elevated. I will go back.
