We were just walking by and looking for a place to get coffee, we saw their menu and the coffee was cheap so we decided to stop in. We ordered two cups of coffee and a churro (gotta have sweets with my coffee). The coffee showed up in these beautiful handcrafted cups and it was strong and delicious.  Our churro showed up a five minutes later and it was fresh, hot and cinnamon-sugary deliciousness! Our server was great and we would return to get coffee or dine here again

Ugh. Overpriced, tables falling apart, very underwhelming bland food. Only plus is air conditioning inside.

Soooo...I was wandering about in Playa Del Carmen after a fantastic show at Coco Bongo searching for a late night greasy snack to appease the liqueur gods and along came the smell of broiled burger essence.  I followed the trail until I found myself standing outside La Jarra beside their outdoor grill.   I decided after watching the guy in front of me damn near swallow his Hawaiian Burger whole, that this burger was something I was going to have to relish myself.  I can't tell you exactly what he put on it, but the grilled onions, peppers, pineapple, cheese and sauce that he concocted was second to none!  I've had many great burgers in the states, but this stands out as one of the best I've had in Mexico!  To top it off...I want to say it only cost around 60 pesos or so.   I told the cook I'd brag about that burger, so please mention it to him.
