Hello Unfortunately I can't say anything more about it because it was completely closed at Christmas time when I was there. Looked a bit wild and no clue was found. Because it had a great response on Google. Unfortunately that wasn't the case, so we went to Mister Taco, which was almost next door :) which was great.

Very chill and again fabulous service in Bacalar. Truth be told, La Pina was super close to our hotel and I had a broken finger from an accident that occurred earlier. As we strolled up to the restaurant there was obviously a cook having a beak sitting on a small stool out front. I asked her what we should order. Without hesitation she replied huaraches. Now I believe the name refers to the shape being similar to the soles sandal's but the dish that arrives stacked with fresh crispy lettuce on top of a delicious mix of steak drunks and shrimp sitting on a 2mm thick handmade blue miaz tortilla. Two cream drizzles and the open fire kitchen flavours permeated the entire dish. We also ordered a felafel and a chilli rellano. Both were very good. Excellent authentic flavours packer full of loving care. Bravo and thanks.

Do not come here with children because this restaurant is perfect if you really aren't in a hurry because it takes a very (very) long time to get your food and even your drinks (we received our food more than 45 minutes after we ordered). Furthermore we placed 4 orders and they somehow managed to forget my younger brother's one. Finally my sister ordered a burger, the menu said there were fried potatoes on the side but when my sister received her order there weren't so she went to ask the cook and they told her that they didn't have potatoes anymore. The thing is that they didn't even tell us and tried to make us pay for those potatoes and missing burger!
However the food was really good and the place is nice.
