I came here twice during my weeklong visit to BCN. Everything is perfect and, two years later, I still keep the photo of the food in my phone so I can reminisce.  Fried anchovies all day long!
Great traditional tapas but only five choices ranging from 2.5 - 3 euros. Choices included tomato salad with olives and onions, fried anchovies, anchovies on bread, sausage on bread and all were great. Very small and crowded and mostly full of very friendly locals.
Loved it so much we went back three times in our week in Barcelona. Simple menu of 6 tapas done really well and great wine to go with. Until we meet again... we fell in love with Barcelona and bar la Plata. We will definitely be back to both in the future. Until then I will keep practicing drinking from the Perron!
