This may not be the best pizza place in town but their pizzas with three toppings for 9 euros are decent and we will definitely come back for the two course lunch menu with a drink that costs 11 euro pp.Our waiter was very nice, he had a good command of English and was also happy to communicate with us in Spanish as we were trying to practice a bit. The enterior of the restaurant is nicely decorated and the Italian music that they are playing also adds to the experience. One thing that should be done is fixing the door as it closes with a painfully loud noise.

We've just had a lovely lunch at la Scala. The food was excellent as was the service. We arrived at the very end of the lunch session (15.30). I took advantage of the menu of the day which included 2 courses and a drink for a very reasonable 11 Euros. The carpaccio of lamb was very refreshing and came with a light flat bread. My youngest had the children's menu which included mains, dessert and a drink for 9 euros. My wife's salad was impressive both in quality and size. My eldest enjoyed her Pizza, which came on a very thin light vase. The desserts were lovely and also very reasonably priced putting some UK based chains to shame. Despite the fact the restaurant was closing at 4pm we were never hurried and the waitress was polite and very helpful. The restaurant is just off the Rambla Nova and certainly worth a visit if you want a good quality meal, with great service at a reasonable price. I look forward to returning on future visits to Tarragona.
