Oh well. With the many positive reviews and the prices called, I would have expected a lot more. First the positives: The atmosphere was great. You felt like you were on a short vacation in Italy. Even the tablecloths looked authentic. The crockery and cutlery are also of high quality. Unfortunately the food couldn't keep up. The side salad we ordered (€5 was on the bill for it) turned out to be a small blob of mixed salad on a large plate, topped with a goo that was supposed to be the dressing. At least vinegar and oil came to the table, so that the mishap could be eliminated and the salad seasoned. The Pizza Diavolo was well topped, unfortunately not spicy (as promised on the menu) but the dough was limp to gummy, probably soggy from the tomato sauce and therefore not risen and left in the pizza oven too short (or not hot enough). Bottom line: maybe the chef was having a particularly bad day, but I certainly won't be going back to La Strada for this meal.
