If you're in Siena, definitely check this place out for dinner and request a table with Luca. Make sure you make a reservation at least the day before. They have two seatings: a 7:30pm and a 9:00pm. We chose the 9:00 so that we wouldn't feel rushed. I'll admit the place is a bit touristy, but the quality of food and experience is amazing. We each ordered pasta and steak. All our dishes were great, I especially loved the tiramisu. The best part though, was our waiter, Luca, who was super funny, attentive, and even showed us around the wine cellar after the meal. You won't be disappointed!
A beautiful evening at the old Sienna site ended up as a memorable experience at this restaurant. Excellent pasta and wine, the place and service was outstanding; it was my daughter's  BD and the house surprised us with an extra delicious dessert. We were allowed to visit and admire their underground cellar and rest of premises, something to remember from lovely Italy.
We went here for dinner on our last night in Siena and it definitely lived up to the hype! Being from the states and planning a 3 week vacation to a country I've never been to, I relied heavily on the internet for any and all dinner recommendations. I made all our reservations at least 1-2 months before our trip because I worried about not being able to find available dinner spots. The whole communication process with this restaurant was seamless. Since I couldn't call internationally, I relied on email strictly. When emailing I mentioned we were traveling for a delayed honeymoon and first year wedding anniversary but I said that to all restaurants and forgot I had said it when we arrived for dinner. The staff was warm, welcoming, and accommodating. They brought us an aperitif and the special soup of the night right as we sat down. The appetizers were incredible!!! I got the breaded tomato soup in a buffalo mozzarella bowl and it was amazing. For dinner my husband got the house special truffle filet which was wonderful and I got the house special truffle gnocchi. The gnocchi was the best thing my husband and I have ever tasted. Hands down! At the end of the dinner they completely surprised us with a special celebration including music, special champagne, and dessert. We were shocked, we thought they were just turning the restaurant into a club at this time of night or celebrating someone's birthday at one of the larger parties. Everything was amazing and personalized. The perfect way to start our vacation and the perfect end to our stay in Siena. This is a must go!!
