Michelin selection.
Good standard.

In the heart of historical Paris, this 17C building has plenty of character… and so does the food! Onion soup with a twist; venison fillet, quince, watercress, Likouala pepper; and (as the name suggests) truffles always enjoy the limelight, courtesy of a year-round special menu... More info

Refined cuisine but nothing more. The prices are excessive given the lack of Michelin rating and the service not up to par (several times drops of wine on the tablecloth). Thanks to the restaurant for a pleasant experience The sommelier’s description of the wine is specific The waiters are friendly and enthusiastic in introducing the meals, and will proactively observe the possible needs of customers. The meal is of course the most enjoyable part. The lunch set sincerely provides additional meals off the menu. Every dish is delicious and worth a special visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I dined here for lunch this past Saturday and was not disappointed. The bread pictured was absolutely incredible. It was made out of pastry dough and was insanely buttery. It also came with an extra serving of herb butter in case you weren't satisfied. I did not like the amuse-bouche, but I don't like sweet potato flavored things very much. The hors-d'œuvres were very flavorful and varied. The fish main was quite good. It had a deconstructed egg, the white of which I did not like at all. I was also not too fond of the zoodle nest. The yolk and the fish itself were standouts. The pigeon main was a bit disappointing. It lacked a lot of flavor, and the cannellini beans were noticeably undercooked. I thoroughly enjoyed the stewed pigeon served on top of the beans, though. I ate all of the accoutrements and toppings on the dessert but could not muster enough strength to tackle the cake part. It was like a slab of hard gelatin. I am not sure whether this is a delicacy I am unfamiliar with but, regardless, my palate did not appreciate it. The post-dessert treats were very good. I especially appreciated the macaron. After dinner I ordered an espresso. It was €7. Be warned. The service was very good. They had more than enough staff working to handle everyone dining, and I would say they provided white-glove service. They crumb dusted, which is a touch I always appreciate. Further, the ambiance was exquisite. It was intimate yet bright enough for a lunch service. I thought their interior design was very tasteful. Overall, I would recommend La Truffière. While my experience wasn't flawless, I anticipate that their dinner service is a bit more polished.
