The food is not good, it is not of the day. And apart from being bad, it's expensive, bad service, I don't recommend it at all. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Driving home and after a busy morning, I need to fix my hunger pain. Oh yes, it is Tuesday, it is Taco time! Stop by the neighborhood La Valentina Mexican Restaurant in search of Tacos. This restaurant relocated to this Publix Shopping mall from Lee Blvd about a year ago. As you approach the front door, you notice two outside tables under blue umbrella with matching color chairs! There are only about 10-12 tables/booth inside with two outside tables. But the interior is colorful. First, the left wall mural is created by a local artist, Quintin Martinez. He called the mural, "Con Sabor A Mexico", showing the history and Mexican life. You can tell he poured his heart and soul to create this masterpiece! My original choice was to have, Caldo de Res, Mexican beef soup with carrot, corn, with tripe but I decided just have Taco instead! Asked for Jarritos Tamarind but they only have Jarritos Fruit punch today! Wait they served fresh tortilla chips and salsa with tri color tortilla chips! Noticed Barbacoa Tacos are available but for today, I chose three chorizo soft tacos with rice, refried bean, Pico de Gallo and guacamole. The chorizo was juicy and topped with cilantro and onion. The rice, refried bean, guacamole just hit the spot! At the early location, La Valentina suffered from understaffing and server problem. Now, the problem appeared solved and just have another good lunch at La Valentina!
