It was new year's Eve.... We didn't have any reservations.... We passed this restaurant.... We got a reservation! Huzzah! We were staying in this neighborhood overnight before flying out early in the morning and got really lucky. This place wasn't even that busy, which was surprising, because it was really really good and reasonably priced. I had a mixed plate of grilled meats, all of which were super delicious.... I literally ate everything on the plate. The husband had some pasta, that was decent, but this isn't really a pasta place ... They also serve awesome bread and dips to start, yummmm. We had an apple cake for dessert that was also fairly decent. I hadn't had Turkish food before, So I was very pleasantly surprised. I would highly recommend it!
Great service and great food!
If you’re looking for good Turkish grill and Meze La villa is the perfect place, there are some good pastas, burgers and pizzas as well! Very nice ambience, very helpful and friendly staff and the prices are quite reasonable. Just a small comment they don’t provide Turkish desserts like kunafe, I think it would be nice to introduce it to the Norwegian people as it’s part of the Turkish culture.
