Both MUVE, Museo del Vetro di Empoli and Laboratorio Doppiozero are recommended for visiting. Here, you can find the recipes and ingredients of the Italian cuisine. It's a pleasant experience to eat good ravioli, gnocchi and burrata. This restaurant will offer you delicious wine. Great cortado is among the best drinks to try.

The great location of Laboratorio Doppiozero makes it easy to reach even in rush hours. It's a nice place with the peaceful ambiance. Visitors have rated this place 4.5 on Trip.

Wow, just discovered this place that opened 10 months ago in the pedestrian area of Empoli city center. Amazing freshly-made pasta! This is a pasta shop where you can purchase various handmade pastas by weight to take home and cook yourself: tortellini, ravioli, gnocchi, tagliatelle, tagliolini, papperdelle, etc. But there are 2 things that make this place stand out. First the kind of pastas are very original. There were tagliatelle made with chestnut flour, gnudi (large gnocchis) made with kale, ravioli stuffed with carbonara (egg and bacon), big tortelloni stuffed with burrata mozzarella cheese, ravioli stuffed with lampredotto (a Florentine specialty made with beef tripe). I've definitely never seen such pastas in other places. Second, not only can you buy pasta to cook at home, you can also eat there. It is open for lunch only from Tuesdays to Saturdays and the menu has few items (an indication of freshness) and very reasonable prices (dishes under €10 each). I bought DELICIOUS fresh gnocchi today -- next time I will go for lunch! The seating inside is simple but stylish, the whole shop actually is lovely and modern. This is a great addition to Empoli city and I will definitely be back!
la genuinità e la freschezza degli ingredienti
Da provare assolutamente!!
