This place is lovely, such a warm welcoming place. It's a bit dated, needs a bit of a do-up, but the staff (that were there) are wonderful. It seemed like the manager, who introduced himself as ian (I assume it was the manager, because there was nobody else there!) was on his own, he was taking orders, serving AND pulling pints. But that didn't stop him from being cheery and welcoming and making everyone feel at home. The food was hot, out at a decent time (not too much of a wait!), and looked good. But you can't really ruin a steak and chips, can you? More staff and a splash of new paint wouldn't go amiss though. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Lovely accommodating staff will go every time I visit my daughter. Not ridiculous prices for Edinburgh either. Great service Well done, Stephanie behind the bar is a real asset to your company. I have been staying here for the last 6 weeks for work, Stephanie is very attentive to her customers, she is always happy and greets everyone with a warm and friendly smile. Stephanie is very professional and always ensures that your drink is served as quickly as possible. Stephanie always makes sure all the customers are at ease.
