We were really excited to dine at LAGO. From everything we had seen, it looked like an upscale restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere and one of the best views in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the experience was one of the biggest dining disappointments we’ve had. The service was incredibly slow. We waited more than 45 minutes just for our first course, and our server never checked on us. We eventually had to flag someone down ourselves just to get attention. The food was even more disappointing. It wasn’t just below expectations for a restaurant of this caliber—it wasn’t even on par with a decent neighborhood Italian restaurant. Every dish was underwhelming and lacked the quality you would expect given the prices. During our trip, we ate at several other Italian restaurants in Las Vegas that completely outclassed LAGO. RPM Italian, for example, served food that was easily three times better at essentially the same price. The fountain view is undeniably beautiful, but that’s the only highlight. If you’re looking for outstanding Italian food and attentive service, there are far better options in Las Vegas. We won’t be returning, and I would recommend avoiding LAGO unless the view is your only priority. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Dinner

This should be rated 5 stars as it was by far the best meal I had in Vegas. 8oz. tenderloin cooked to perfection with asparagus and potatoes. The problem with the place is the NOISE. Imagine yourself in a grade school cafeteria. The customers are so loud you literally cannot hear what the person seated next to you is saying. If you want a spectacular view of the fountains at Bellagio while you dine then this is the place. If you are looking for an intimate dinner then go elsewhere.
