Hidden in plain sight, I am delighted to report that this place is a really greasy eatery. Running around on some errands we thought we would look for a snack or “hobz biz-zejt “ and while driving along the coast road I remembered someone mentioning Las Palmas, so we got to the parking place and walked in. The main road side is usually busy and we slipped to the side to get to the beach side terrace, asking the young server if there was an available table. A gentleman at the end saw us and signaled there was an empty table near him - before you know it we were seated and the table cleared. Our server was a young Colombian here to study English - he is good at his work and his English. We were offered a menu and the specials, which we took advantage of -better fresh tuna than a “hobza“ any day in my book. And fresh it was, juicy, tender and amazingly nice. A simple side of salad and chips, with a bottle of still water and we were immediately converted. We then found out that the man who signaled us for the table was the manager overlooking the operation and supporting the team when needed. The bill was refreshing also considering the slab of fish and how well it was cooked and served. Will be back
