The menu of Mexican cuisine under the direction of the popular chef is gorgeous at this place. Based on the visitors' opinions, waiters offer tasty laing, filet américain and shrimp ceviche here. Good ice cream, chocolate cakes and fruitcake are among the dishes to be ordered at this restaurant.
The wine list is extensive, every guest can find something that suits their taste. Choose great tea, you will hardly regret it. The cheerful staff welcomes people all year round. Las Puertas is by far the best restaurant in the Buffalo area! They recently changed their tasting menu to highlight Oaxacan cuisine and it is incredibly unique and flavorful. First of all, the atmosphere is so inviting. The drink menu is extensive and unique as well. They even had mocktails. The mocktails and cocktails were excellent! They do a tasing menu for $100, which is a little steep for Buffalo BUT it is worth every penny! Each dish was extremely delicious and felt fresh and even healthy! There were a lot of flavors I had never experienced before! We have been to a Mexican Michelin star restaurant in Toronto and this was on par with that. They were also very good with a dairy intolerance (even though Tock said they don't accommodate no dairy, you can call and they can probably accommodate). I highly, HIGHLY recommend this place for a special evening out and am very happy Buffalo has a place like Las Puertas! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Wonderful courses and not too much. We've done many tasting menus and often end up having to take something home. The portions were very balanced and the taste did not compromise.
