Just it's okey but server needs to know more about food. He barely answered when I asked him what type tuna comes w the salad .

So let's get something straight, this place is amazing!! Took my wife here for her birthday. We eat out a lot and enjoy a well prepared meal. The escargot is impeccable. The tartar is Devine. The braised lamb shank is succulent and falls right off the bone. Every dish is flavored magnificently and prepared to perfection. The atmosphere is cozy and mimics an actual European cafe. And the service.... Our waiter,Joe, was a professional, knowing precisely when to hang around yet not lingering. He was pleasant and polite and seemed to anticipate my requests before I even made them. There are many restaurants with great food. There are many restaurants with amazing service. This restaurant combines them plus atmosphere for an amazing dining trifecta!! Kudos to the owner Frank, and the amazing jewel of a restaurant he's given to Southampton. By The Way: scored major brownie points with my wife!!! My only regret is that this app ONLY allows me to give 5 stars, Le Chef deserves 10 stars!!

David, you should have a night to remember, especially on an occasion as important as your wife's birthday. Not only do you now have some major brownie points with your wife, but now you have another reason to come back. The next time you're looking for a magical evening with worldly food to match, don't hesitate -- just escargot for it.
