Besides Cryptoportique, visit Le Millénaire in the vicinity. French cuisine can be tasted here. Try nicely cooked amuse bouches, foie gras and caviar. Tasty parfait, ice cream and fruit sorbet can make a profound impression on you.

The wine list is versatile, every visitor will find something that suits their taste. Delicious coffee gets positive reviews. The success of this restaurant wouldn't be possible without the accommodating staff. Fabulous service is something that guests note in their comments. Prices at Le Millénaire claim to be low. You will certainly appreciate the homey atmosphere and terrific decor. It's a Michelin one-star restaurant, the award is usually given for providing great meals.

For the food& service were good :)
Well...I "treated" myself to this meal as an early birthday gift while in Reims. Unfortunately, I was somewhat disappointed in this Michelin rated restaurant. The space is austere and has an elegant yet sterile decor. It is exceptionally quite dining room. The service is Friend and attentive but does border on intrusive at times. I don't like people watching me eat so directly or hovering over my dinner while I'm eating. The menu we had was 55.00 (beware that the 37.00 menu was only for lunch although it lists this as a weekday dinner option online). Wine list is good. The "Bon aperitif" starter was a tomato cream pastry and an avocado purée with cream on top. Both were fine and seemed very traditional. The Lobster Soup dish was flavorful but the texture of the jelly at the bottom was hard to forgive. The third item was the "Perfect Egg at 63 Degrees" which I found to be flavorless and unremarkable - it tasted like a poached egg and nothing more and is a simple dish of poached egg in a cauliflower white sauce. The fish entree was cooked perfectly and this dish was lovely -  flavored with olive and tomatoes. The main course was the duck. Duck was tender and somewhat flavorful but the dish lacked the inventiveness expected for a Michelin stared restaurant. Finally, the peach dessert was excellent. And, to top it all off, the sommelier forgot to bring the wine I had ordered yet charged it on my bill at the close of dinner.  Also, when asked at the start of dinner, he would not offer a recommendation for a proper pairing. I would not return to this restaurant as there is little excitement in the offerings and is only adequate Michelin rated restaurant.
We really enjoyed the set menu and excellent service. Each dish was flavorful and complimented the next. Had a wonderful experience here and Le Millenaire is a highlight of our visit to Reims, highly recommend.
