Absolutely marvelous experience. Delicious food, great service. Gergous was really nice waiter (knowledgeably of wine and food)Food it is stunning! My applause to the chef and culinary team. Wine pairing is on point
My husband and I spent a most wonderful evening at Le Mystique. It was our 1st wedding anniversary, and we are very happy to have celebrated at this charming restaurant! We enjoy fine dining for the food and the experience (the atmosphere, the decor, the service, the wine), so we tend to assess the evening as a package, rather than an exclusively culinary activity. Here, every single detail was to our taste: the staff was very attentive, polite, and friendly, without exhibiting any trace of overbearing grandeur (not a small feat, considering they have to recite a litany of ingredients for each dish and give formal explanations concerning wines etc). The decor is classic, baroque, and opulent - the building’s identity and authenticity are emphasised by the imperfectly restored state of the ceiling painting. This building is an absolute treasure for true vintage lovers. Since we are talking about a restaurant, it might be relevant for me to comment on the food we have been served, instead of losing myself in ramblings about splendidly decorated rooms and crystal chandeliers... The food was as everything we had hoped for, and more. Like most people in the restaurant, we chose the 4-course tasting menu with matching wine selection. This proved an excellent choice: the flavours we encountered were surprising, well-balanced, exquisitely prepared and presented in imaginative ways. A variety of mouth-watering amuse-bouches was served before the first course. We would happily eat here again, and we’d like to sincerely thank the chef and his team for a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable experience!
Food was heavenly. Wines were a perfect match.
