Very disappointed with our meal, we already ordered a bottle of Charentais red wine which was very cold, knowing that on the bottle it was written from 16 to 18°, I pointed this out to the waiter who replied that the wine cellar was at 12°, which would surprise me... He waited until I served our 2 glasses to finally tell us that he could serve us another one at room temperature, as a correction, as I had already served, without consuming it, I refused out of respect. Then big disappointment, a butcher's piece that I asked for, blue cooking, which was served to me much overcooked, and very hard, the water from defrosting, still came out of the meat, which I also reported, that I barely ate half, my wife had parsley squid, with rice and vegetables, not very hot, the rice not too cooked, she ate it because she was hungry and we were going to pay. Subsequently, as I was hungry, I asked for a plate or a piece of cheese, the waiter said, that there was no cheese during the service, knowing that he had salad of hot goat cheese on the menu, so there was cheese, as a correction, I could have been served some since we were disappointed with the wine and the meat. All this was reported to the server, and we received no action or even any apology from anyone. We still paid the sum of €64.40. In any case, we have the opportunity to come to La Rochelle very often, too bad we won't come back to you. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

I visited Le Récif on a sunny afternoon and was immediately struck by the cozy atmosphere. The interior is decorated with warm colors and nautical accents. There is a small terrace that overlooks the beach, which is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink or snack which is where we sat. We were a group of 7 The tea menu is extensive, with different teas to choose from. There are also a variety of pastries and sandwiches available. I ordered a pot of Earl Grey tea which was perfect . The tea was delicious. The service at Le Récif was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our waiter was funny as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
