The steak Florentine here is no joke: it’s tender, flavorful, perfectly prepared, and served with a generous sprinkle of coarse salt and rosemary. Have it cooked rare as they suggest. Dining alone, I wondered whether I could put away 1kg (the restaurant’s minimum order) by myself — but I succeeded and feel full but not in pain (a feeling I knew all too well growing up as a Fat Kid). The potatoes were the perfect side, and the suggested wine pairing (2018 Altiero Chianti Classico Riserva) was a triumph. For the food quality, the ambiance, the knowledgeable and friendly wait staff, and the obviously masterful chef, this restaurant earns every bit of its 5 stars. Bravo!
