My issues were with both my starter and main meal. I ordered a Zest special mix starter which was supposed to be pulled meat mixed in with spices. Sounded great, until it came. Literally 80% of it is sautéed onions and the remainder some pulled meat, an absolute rip-off for £5.45! If it had a 50/50 ratio, it would have been a winner, but it’s obvious from the starter what this place is doing.
My main meal was malai kofte which should look like this: [Link]. What came was a gravy-based curry full of, once again, sautéed onions and one tiny defrosted and microwaved seekh kebab that was cut up into six little pieces. This is an embarrassment for the chef who claims it’s his recipe
Frozen parantha was served in the name of plain parantha at 3 times higher cost. Very rude staff, made us feel terrible. Arrogant chef and overpriced menu. Taste of food is not upto the mark. Our experience of Blackpool was just ruined by this one.
