This was first time at Legends. I went in with my husband to get bags of popcorn for our kids Easter baskets. For starters when we entered we were not greeted or acknowledged by the 2 employees working. The kid at the counter seemed more in tune to the cooking show playing on the TV. After asking a few questions with very minimal answers, I had to figure out the name of the mixed flavors was confetti! He was so unhelpful, unfriendly and didn’t seem to care if we bought anything at all. I love supporting small businesses close to my house and locally owned, but sadly I will go somewhere else next time.

Holy Grail a month ago on Google

First time I found this place, I went in to get some popcorn and a young guy and girl were at the counter, took them a while to glance up from their cell phones to take my order. Not a smile, thank you, nothing. I got my bag and left. Today I needed some popcorn at the last min for a few employees. Walked in 15 minutes before closing and asked the young lady if I could possible get 20 mini bags of any popcorn and was told no because they were closing in 15 minutes and to come back tomorrow in which I couldn't. I quickly found another popcorn place called Triple T's that was 10 minutes away. Same thing walked in 15 minutes before they closed, not only was the young lady all smiles she stated absolutely she could get me the popcorn without hesitation. Since they were closing I asked if she could just give me 4 large bags and supply me with 20 empty mini bags that I could fill myself so that she could close up and she stated that she didn't mind bagging the popcorn up for me. She saved the day! Twice I received poor customer service from Legends. I will go to Triple T's going forward.

As a cheese popcorn aficionado since I was a kid, I have very high expectations for cheese popcorn that no prepackaged store brand cheese popcorn could ever fulfill. So I only go to popcorn shops when I crave cheese popcorn. After moving here to Plano from Michigan, I was ecstatic a few years back when Legends Popcorn opened in my neighborhood. Legends has every flavored popcorn imaginable, however, I'm simple when it comes to my popcorn and I only get their Extra Cheesy and Caramel with Pecans or just Extra Cheesy when I go there. Legends' extra cheesy is very good, but not as good as Garrett's cheese popcorn (I always go to Garrett's when I fly home and Dallas had Garrett's Popcorn location inside DFW Airport that has permanently closed since Covid-19). But back to Legends ... Legends Popcorn (extra cheesy) is a strong contender when I get a cheese popcorn craving and they are right around the corner from a major movie theater (sometimes I'd stop at Legends first to get my cheese popcorn, put the bag in my purse then 'sneak' it into the movies ... don't tell nobody LOL). Legends is a family owned business, friendly staff and very convenient location so I will ALWAYS support them. My only complaint about Legends is I wish the extra cheesy was on the level of Garrett's regular cheese popcorn which leaves you with cheesy fingers (Legends' extra cheesy does not) and sometimes (not all the time) my Legends popcorn has had way too many hulls.
