Cold meal ArmageddonThis place has granted us the worst experience during our 3 weeks stay (dining out daily) this summer in La Herradura, and, being regulars to this village every August since 1996, we can also say it's one of the most terrible dinners we've ever had here. They have an extremely slow and bad service, with main courses served with more than half an hour lapse between them (even the pancakes for the Peking Duck came 5 minutes after the duck...!), leaving two of us staring as our other companion ate her plate. One of the udon dishes was so spicy, we could not finish it, and when we complained to the waiter that this was not mentioned in the menu nor was it commented while we ordered, he explained that almost all the food they serve is spicy (although no reference to this can be found on the menu). After more than an hour wait, we were finally presented with an over cooked duck (and otherwise average, compared to many other Peking ducks we've tried), and 15 minutes later, the 3rd main course we had ordered was served (that is, our companion could eventually eat her plate after a one hour and 20 minutes wait); in this case, it was the chef (and owner?) who brought the plate to us, giving no explanation or apologies (we are not sure she even spoke spanish or english) when we complained about the waiting. In short, an unforgettable night out in a plce we will never recommend or visit again.
Decent japaneas food but nothing more. Fish does unfortunately not seem all that fresh, neither does the gyosa which might have been frozen. They are also much more dumpling than a gyosa.
Un espectaculo
