Unfortunately unsympathetic and unfriendly. We arrived at 2:30 p.m. and just wanted something to drink. Well over half of all the tables were free, so we sat down at a free, uncovered table for two. Nothing there, we were turned away, you could only drink at the bar. It's a shame for the beautiful place.

Lido Garibaldi is the second of the 3 beaches of Eraclea Minoa. In my opinion it is the best kept and most welcoming beach thanks also to the historic restaurant/bar on the beach. In the hottest and busiest months, like August, the water isn't great, often being a little dirty and cloudy. In the low season, however, especially in the morning, the water is very clean and very beautiful, with the classic emerald color of the Mediterranean. Obviously on a personal level I am fond of it, but I recommend it for those who are nearby, even for large groups thanks to the enormous free beach with an adjoining free volleyball net where you can play.
