Fantastic brunch & Dinner Service! Also great for coffee, pastries, and bread. Awesome & polite team, will definitely recommend this location! Great beer and wine options as well.
What I love about exploring another part of Greater Vancouver is the possible temporary experience that we are on holiday somewhere. Brunch on this perfect sunny Sunday morning inside Lift Breakfast Bakery felt just like we were in Seabrook, WA, or California near the beach! The wait was 35 minutes for a table for two at 11:30 am. The food arrived promptly. Just as Chef Enrich recommended, the food was good. We ordered the Ship Builders Benedict with smoked trout, and Breakfast 101 with sausage and whole wheat bread. The smoked trout was very delicate and the sausage herby, and the salt level just right. Perfect. The medium poached eggs were cooked perfectly. The potato rösti was perfectly crispy for the 101, but a bit anemic under the smoke trout. The whole wheat bread was substantial and dense. I love the homemade tomato sauce so much I asked for another one. I was able to enjoy my food with a properly made almond milk latte which is a rare thing for brunch places. We drove past Lift Production before on the way to the breakfast cafe – that's where the baking happens. On our way back, we checked it out. Seems like it is a popular place. I had imagined a bakery full of goodies. But was quite disappointed to find out that they had run out of chocolate croissants and had very few goodies left. We bought the milk loaf and a raisin scone. The scone was way too sweet – we threw it out. The milk loaf was very enjoyable – a white bread that tasted like brioche with very little butter. Yes, we will definitely visit Lift Breakfast Bakery again.
Delicious pasta dinner! So fresh and one of the best pasta dinners we have ever had! Gnocchi and carbonara were amazing.
