The absolute best baked treats in Hobart. This tiny gem of a spot is the first place I take chefs to when they visit. The quality of anything produced in house is outstanding. The European butter, next level techniques, and interesting and delicious flavors. They excel at making your favorite viennoiserie classics, and yet, they always have something trending in New York or Tokyo for you to try. Right now they have big as NY chocolate bejeweled puddles in a toasted butterscotchy melt in your mouth cookie, the immaculate Basque tart with squiddgy jammy prunes tucked inside his divinely fresh dairy buttery flock, and the seducingly powerful citrus brulee tart. I swear it is responsible for significantly lifting my joy after a particularly brutal day. Its such an enchanting oasis of satisfaction and whimsy, I always feel happier when I leave. The staff are personable and engaging, while dancing perfect ballet between the kitchen and the dining room or counter guests. Make sure you pop in for an exceptional coffee or tea break, and always take a box home, they deserve your patronage, and you deserve the treat. Only thing is, get in early, or call in your order. They are "little" and with quality this high, the quantities are modest. Yesterday was American Thanksgiving, and we invited friends over to enjoy turkey with us.To distinguish it from just another turkey dinner I ordered an American style pumpkin pie from Little Missy Patisserie. It was perfect and made the meal to the extent that even my inept carving of the bird could spoil it. Food: 5 Service: 5
