A friend and I had the same thing. Yummy lime milk shake, chicken burger( sooooo good) and heavenly herbed fries. We will make Cafe 88 our go to. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you like soggy, cold food then by all means go there. Ordered breakfasts for 2. Both came out cold & took nearly an hour as something about the grills not working / power etc. Mine has a good tablespoon of water running from the poached eggs not being drained through all the rest of the dish so wet over cooked bacon and soggy hash browns topped off with cold toast. I’ve travelled all over NZ and eaten in lots of places and this has to be one of the worst. Don’t waste your money.
