Lot. One Potts Point may sound vaguely familiar to those who remember the now closed Lot. 1 Sydney.  Well the city’s loss is Potts Point’s gain as the restaurant moves into its new digs at the former home of Missy French. Lot. One Potts Point‘s decor is instantly inviting with exposed brick walls, warm woods and soft lighting.  You kind of feel like a local when you walk in the door, which I think is exactly their point.  Lot. One Potts Point knows the competition is fierce in their suburb and they’re pulling out all the stops to impress both the locals and visitors alike.
In Short: Lot One. Restaurant + Bar wears a few guises, and it does it so well. With a well stocked bar, settle in for a few drinks and some bites, or lounge around longer for delicious larger plates that are contemporary with touches of brilliance. My tip, start with the sardine, proceed to the beetroot gnocchi and finish with snickers.

Let’s start with the fit out. It’s eclectic, a bit old worlde and very charming with a very well stocked bar. The service is warm and friendly and the food is interesting and creative. I am not sure about garnishing the corn and saffron risotto (pictured) with popcorn though. I did absolutely adore the truffle, hazelnut and taleggio arancini. The highlights for me were the decadent desserts. The snickers dessert (pictured) was definitely a sugar hit and and the dessert’s housemade dulce de leche was to die for. #lotone
