Great food, very friendly staff. They squeezed us in on a very busy night, we had fish tacos and mushroom with rice pilaf, it was absolutely delicious. Enjoyed a complementary dessert when they heard we were celebrating a birthday. Save room for dessert! I had lunch at Low Gap Cafe in Jasper today. It’s a convenient location close to the square with plenty of parking. The food was great- all dishes were well prepared , fresh and hot. My table ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich , the brisket sandwich and the chicken fried steak dinner. The portions were large and the ladies took home left overs for dinner. The men managed to eat almost every bite of their meals which was quite an accomplishment considering the size of the chicken friend steak! Everyone agreed the food was delicious and our server was very friendly and helpful. Two of us managed to save room for dessert and we both ordered the lemon blueberry cake which was very light and a wonderful combination of fresh, citrusy flavors. We will definitely return to Low Gap Cafe when we are in the area. I almost forgot to mention the biscuits that come before your meal but we could have made a meal out of then they were so delicious.
