After enjoying Brooklyn Museum, it may be a nice idea to visit this restaurant. The menu of Lowerline is recommended to Cajun and Creole cuisine lovers. Perfectly cooked rich gumbo, fried prawns and Étouffée are the best dishes. You can always enjoy good panna cotta and tasty pudding at this place.

Was in the area after a museum visit and was so excited to find a creole spot! Walked in and it is very quaint and imagine it can get pretty cramped. The owner was serving at the bar so I got to talk to him about the restaurant and hear his story. Tried the half po boy, half etouffee combo. The crawfish etoufee was delicious with big chunks of crawfish and tasted fresh, the po boy was cool! Nice fresh bread, crisp on the outside and warm on the inside, decent fry on the shrimp but it wasn't super seasoned. Nothing a lil hot sauce couldn't fix. They also have oyster happy hour if you like those! Def stop by if you're in the area
