Come to this bar to try nicely cooked southern fried chicken, coleslaw and chicken pies. You can order good waffles, vanilla ice cream and beignets. Delicious draft beer, wine or red sangria are among the most popular drinks at Loyal Hound. It's nice to order great lemonade, ice tea or coffee.

The great location of this place makes it easy to reach even in rush hours. Most users point out that the staff is pleasant. Fabulous service is something clients appreciate here. Prices at this spot are worth attention as they're attractive. You will certainly like the comfortable atmosphere and fine decor. But this bar hasn't got a high Zomato rating that displays that Loyal Hound has something to improve.

Heavy "comfort" food lacking balance.
We had a really good meal here while visiting town. Lots of things on the menu sounded tempting, so it was hard to decide what to order. My husband and I shared the short rib nachos along with a bowl of the green chili stew. Both were fabulous! The service was fairly good as well. Nothing too memorable, other than one of the beers we wanted to order wasn't available. It is a pet peeve of mine when drink menus aren't accurate or out of date. Otherwise the decor felt very dated. I get that it's a dog theme, but random decorations to try to fit a theme doesn't always make sense. I think it could use a bit of a refresh, but the food was very good.
We rolled into town and the loyal Hound was our first pick for our first meal in Santa Fe. I was way more than happy about our choice. The menu is casual in general but with many touches of sophistication. We had fantastic double deviled eggs to start, with a bright mustard flavor and dainty pickles on top. I had the fish and chips, which were awesome. The tartar sauce is homemade, as well as the coleslaw. Who can beat roasted strawberry ice cream for dessert? It was a memorable comfortable dinner, and I wouldn't hesitate to return here during our short visit in Santa Fe.
