This is the best spot near Fireman's Field. Do not delay your visit – seriously, the Chinese cuisine is waiting for you. You will try good lo mein, hot & sour soup and orange chicken.
Food delivery is a big plus of this restaurant. The terrific staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Fast service is something that people highlight in their reviews. You are to be pleasantly impressed with democratic prices at Lucky China. But sadly, Facebook users who have visited this place rate it below average.

I've gotten takeout from here dozens of times. This is a family run restaurant and the owners are fairly friendly. I would say the food is slightly above average and the portions are large. The Kung Pao chicken, curry chicken and orange chicken are all good. Although, to be fair, the Kung Pao is not authentic. It's better described as a good chicken dish that's Kung Pao influenced. To prepare an authentic Kung Pao is several steps and most quick service American-style Chinese restaurants just won't take the time. Frankly, places like this are hard to rate. As Chinese food goes, there's no dish I've had here that is outstanding. But most of the dishes are fair or better.

I came into Lucky China on my own during lunch and ordered the Orange Chicken with Fried Rice lunch special. I was under the impression from previous reviews that I would find mediocre food for a great price. While yes the food was inexpensive, it was plentiful (1 meal I split over the course of 2 days) and was also quite delicious. As a previous reviewer had mentioned, they don't give out vegetables unless explicitly listed. Including in the fried rice, which I thought was quite odd. Although that missed the mark for me, the food was still delicious and affordable. Not to mention the PERFECT egg roll. I will definitely be coming back for takeout. On another note, the atmosphere of this place is dreary and it feels depressing. Letting more light in might help, but nothing about the place took away from the quality of my meal since I took it out with me.

Got carry out tonight. The food was hot and fresh. There were 10 of us so had many different entrees. The spice level was good for us...dishes that should be spicy were. They made up a bok choy dish for us that wasn't good, but maybe that's what we get for purchasing off the menu. We have been getting take out here for several years, and were concerned about recent reviews, but we enjoyed our meal.
