This cafe and Brett Whiteley Studio Museum can be both really attractive for tourists. Serving good katsu, chicken katsu and meatball sandwiches is the hallmark of Lucky Pickle. Try delicious egg coffee.

Was too excited to dig in that I couldn't take a photo. Wanted to try the KFC sandwich, but they were sold out at 12:30 p.m., so I opted for the chicken katsu that was available, and it did not disappoint. The katsu was juicy and so tasty the flavour combo of the cabbage and sauce was delicious.. Not to mention, the bread will definitely come back and try other menu items. Cute cafe in Surry Hills with Japanese / Asian inspired rolls and bowls. I tried the chicken katsu roll today. So fresh and delicious, generous amount of chicken katsu that went well with the tonkatsu sauce. The cafe has mostly outdoor seating available, lovely spot to sit outside and enjoy a roll under the sun. I would recommend checking out Lucky Pickle and I'd come back again!
